Sheer Beauty – outdoor fashion nude photos

This photo set of the amazing little Asian fashion model Tessa was shot around lunch time in the lush green rainforest of northern NSW, Australia an hour or two drive west of Byron Bay. I like to do rainforest shoots in the middle of the day as I find the dense canopy overhead does a good job of blocking most direct light, in fact it normally does a good job of blocking light in general and as such it’s usually rather dim in a rainforest (or heavy jungle) and so you need as much ambient light as you can get. In this shoot here lighting was taken care of by nothing more than an assistant with a reflector, the location proved perfect for this set up as there was a couple large holes in the canopy over the top of this stream allowing for direct light to be bounced off the reflector but the model to be positioned out of it. As usual the gold side of the reflector was used to maximise the effect and give a nice golden glow to the skin tones. The awesome sheer poncho fashion thing was brought along by Tessa, it has to be one of my favourite ever pieces of fashion!
